((This scene is different than any other scene even if you are in it this does not count as one of your sticky or nonsticky threads the only thing you have to do is post in any thread that you are in that you have a slight dizzy spell or seem disoriented for a moment but you can continue any other thread as normal))

Upon being extracted from whatever you were doing you find yourself in a room void of any furniture. The walls are a dingy yellow color as though someone had spent years smoking in it the paint is starting peel in spots and there are stains towards the bottom of the wall that are slightly darker than the rest of the wall. The ceiling is bare of paint it looks to be straight drywall with only a light bulb hanging from a bare wire. The floors of the room are made of oak the scent of the rotting wood permeates the scenes if you breath to deeply. There are no doors or windows visible in the room.

Kyle looks around in confusion, doing his best to keep calm. He doesn't look near to panic though and he looks at the only other person who seemed to be awake. "You wouldn't happen to know what's going on here, would you?"

Derek appears, dressed in black slacks, charcoal sports jacket, Italian leather shoes, a sky-blue button-down shirt and a tie with blue and grey patterns on black. He is carrying a manila folder, he looks around, confused, as just a moment ago he had been talking with three companions, looking into the recent disappearances of several local children.

He looks around, one brow arched in surprise as he scans his surroundings, and the other rising in surprise as he notices Kyle's manner of dress.

"This is different," he says. "What's going on?"

He takes a moment to glance around his surrounding but he still feel off-pace with the current situation - perhaps, he should just observe until an opportunity to understand what's going on arises, or at least - wait until his disorientation passes.

"I like your boots," Derek replies to Kyle. He gives him the thumbs-up sign before continuing to look around the room.

As he studies the room and tries to make sense of what had happened, an uncomfortable thought occurs to Derek. "Kyle and I are both here... could we have been taken by a Keeper?" He glances anxiously at the others in the room. Derek notes that none of them have any visible sign of seeming or kith, but he knows that doesn't rule out the Others, either, as a Keeper might have been looking for humans to take and picked up a few changelings at the same time.

Considering his options, Derek quickly decides the best thing would be to try to learn more about what is happening. Taking a deep breath, and being careful to look at neither Kyle nor himself, he looks around the room, attempting to use his Wyrd-trained senses to look past the mundane in order to detech anything magical in the vicinity.

Grip-of-Steel was just talking to a spirit, the first one he had seen in weeks and suddenly he was here... whatever that meant. He was wearing a black wife-beater and worn brown trousers. First thing he did was to look around. When he saw Matthew he walked to him "Alpha, what is going on? Did the spirit do this?"

Knowing the most likely thing Derek was thinking, because he was thinking the exact same thing (he just was better at hiding it), Kyle moves closer to his only apparent peer. At least he had someone he trusted enough to watch his back.

Matthew shakes his head. "I doubt that spirit could have done this, but I'm just as in the dark as you are. From what I've heard, no one else them has any idea what's going on either."

Marius awoke, and looked around the bare room. He was wearing casual blue jeans and a black shirt with its sleeves rolled up and the top three buttons open.

Almost instinctively his blooded started to strengthen his body, while he started looking at the gathered faces. He recognized Reed and West, and two more he had seen at the art gallery.

He walked up to Reed, keeping an eye on the others, but quickly realized that they were just as lost. He took out his mobile phone to check the connection, just in case.

"Hello, Mr. Hyland. Have any guesses as to what's going on?" He said in his usual calm fashion. He walked up next to him, and as he turned whispered straight into his ear.
"And who or what are all the others here?"

Reed continued observing the situation as he spoke in a low an calm voice, "Mr. Delven, I can't say for sure, myself having become aware shortly before you." As he glance at the people within the room - he did notice that most of them were people that he had seen from the art gallery. He wondered if there was a pattern or a clue to indicate which direction to go or do if possible.

It had been three days since the first shipment of Amy and Matilda's belongings arrived from the east coast. They had brought their computers with them, so they had used the distraction-free time to get some writing (planning mostly) done, but once stuff starting arriving, the girls were obligated to spend every waking moment getting moved in. During the weeks that passed between closing on the house and the arrival of the first moving van, the yard had become a mess. Matilda, tired of feeling chained to her computer, decided it was time to give the grass a much need hair cut.

Out behind the old house was an even older tool shed. It housed several generations worth of junk (there would be time for sorting through that later), but it also housed the lawn equipment of the previous owners: an old push mower, some electric shears, and the like. Matilda pulled out the old mower, gassed it up, and began devouring the weeds and tall grass growing in the yard.

The sun was bright and hot, and as she worked, Matilda began to feel light headed. She chalked it up not being properly hydrated, so she killed the mower and went back to the house for a drink. By the time she reached the shade of the back porch, Matilda felt like she might faint. To keep from falling over flat, she collapsed onto her butt on the top step of the porch and put he head in her hands. The world was spinning.

And then it stopped. Matilda looked up, squinting hard against the bright light of the sun, but there was no sun. Matilda found herself in a dimly lit room

Matilda jumped to her feet and looked around at all the people. "Wha—" was all she could manage.

Matilda was a petite girl in her early 20s. She had long blond hair that was wild and messy. She had it pulled back at the back of her neck to keep it out of her face. Matilda was dressed in cut-off blue shorts, a white tank top, white canvas shoes (now stained green with grass), and checkered garden gloves. She was covered with sweat and little bits of grass, and her shoes smelled like gasoline.

"Hello?" she said to all the people. "I was just mowing." There was nothing else to say.

While Matilda worked in the yard, Amy toiled away in "the dungeon." The basement beneath the old house had been converted from a damp, dark storage facility to a dry, dark computer room. The structural work in the basement had taken only a few days to complete, and after that it fell to Amy to set up the computer stuff for the house. It was a job she didn't hate, though Amy always preferred using computers to setting them up.

Amy started early that morning, before Matilda was even up. She pulled on an old pair of jeans and a fitted t-shirt with the silhouette of the Linux penguin and after a tall cup of coffee, descended into the dungeon to begin setting up the server cluster that was used for testing, backups, and redundancy for paranormal.com.

About half way through compiling the kernel, Amy started to feel dizzy. "Too much coffee," Amy mused. In a few seconds, she closed her eyes and felt herself falling out of the swivel chair. Amy hit the wooden floor of "the room," and opened her eyes. She tried to scramble to her feet, but only managed to sit up with her back to the wall. "Where am I?" She rubbed her face and looked around. She saw Matilda and sighed, "Thank God"

Derek scans the room itself and those present in addition to himself and Kyle. He doesn't detect anything supernatural about the room, which rather confuses him, given the fact that the room has no doors or windows. However, the results in regard to others present are more notable. He gets a clear sense of magic about the man in the cheap suit and oxford shirt. Derek isn't certain, but he thinks that man may have been at the recent gallery showing, the one where he'd met Eva. He also gets a feeling of something unnatural about two of the other companions - the man in the overcoat and the rugged-looking fellow in the black sleeveless tee and the torn trousers, the one muttering something to another man... had Derek heard correctly that they were talking about spirits? Unfortunately, he couldn't get a clear sense of what exactly was unnatural about either of those two men. But, he did clearly recall the guy in the overcoat as also having been at the gallery event.

Derek also notes Kyle having moved closer, and he nods, acknowledging to the other Changeling that he's got his back should need arise. At the same time, he hopes either he or Kyle can come up with some way to resolve the situation without there being any conflict. Considering his options, he decides the best thing to do is to try to get everyone working together on sorting out what is going on.

Derek glances in turn at everyone present then raises his voice just enough to get everyone's attention, while also carefully maintaining a calm tone and demeanor. "Okay, it appears that none of us knows what's going on here, why we're here or exactly where we are. It's probably best if we try to work together to figure those things out, though. Some of you I don't recall ever seeing before, but I do recognize a couple of you. So, let's start with a question to see if we all have something in common: Who else here was at the Aquatic Museum the other night for the art gallery showing? "

Matthew looks around the room, noticing that none of the others seemed to have the wolf's scent. What brought us all here? For that matter, where is 'here', anyway? Matthew searches for the consciousness of his other packmates, hoping for some clue.

Then the man in the sports jacket speaks. Matthew shakes his head in response to his question. "I've never been to that museum, let alone the art gallery showing."

Vampires, fairies, somethings, and two normal girls. What's this about?

Derek rubs his chin in thought. "Okay, only some of us were at the gallery, but others weren't. So, that blows my initial theory that maybe there was something that connected us that might help explain what's going on here. I got nothing." He turns to Kyle as Kyle covers up, then looks around at the others and shrugs. "Does anyone else have any information or theories that might explain what's going on?"

Before anyone can reply, he adds "Oh, and since we're all stuck here together, maybe we should at least know each other's names. I'm Derek."

Marius saw the man who would introduce himself as Matthew, whisper in the ear of another. Without a second thought his blood rushed through his body and heightened his senses, allowing him to catch a few of the words. Territory and Packmate, were the most intriguing ones.
So there were Werewolves amongst them. Never a very good thing in such confined quarters.

"We were at the art gallery for a few minutes." Matilda said, trying to remember anything mysterious from that night. "It was nice," was all she could remember.

Ankh looks around, n ot dressed in much. A small silk slip of a nightgown that covers very little. She was lying in bed reading when she felt a bit of fatigue come upon hert and then she was here. She looks over at West with some alarm, but does not speak to him directly.

"I'm Ankh. Uh I have no idea what is going on. I was reading and well....." She shrugs, allowing the sentence to trail off.

West begins the laborious process of taking off his holsters, so that he can pull off the oxford and give it to Ankh.

His bare arms reveal a lean, runner's build, and a few odd scars; more than one of which looks like bullet wounds. Once that's done, and Ankh is swimming in the shirt, he straps the guns back on and considers what the others have said about the picture -- the same picture he also remembered.

Just another guy in cheap suit pants, a t-shirt, and double holsters with semi-automatics.

"Well, isn't it a small world after all? And here I thought West was just a direction. Turns out he loans out clothes too." Kyle panics, but it doesn't show in his face. He didn't know this man, and if he's saying what Kyle thinks he's saying...
