Nightfall had wanted to leave early, go home, and clean up... but that just hadn't happened. One of his students had wanted pointers, and kept him late. Well... she had claimed she wanted pointers, but he had gotten the impression she wanted him to ask her out.

Although Grace had been cool about Myah, he doubted she wanted him dating students. So he found himself still in a t-shirt and sweat pants, cleaning the blackboard. Handy thing, that, especially with an instructor that couldn't talk. He really should do something about that. Having the box had been enough, but he worried that he was being flaky after everyone had helped.

Well, I did say I would be 'casual' he mused as he saw his wrists were still taped. Need to remember to give her the prize money from that night at Ember.
