Show Prep OR Drinking Scotch and Watching the Cowboys

Kellie had pulled out his laptop and notepad and was starting to jote down some stories to go over on his first day of the show here in Sac. He turned on his TV to the NFL Network to watch the 'Boys" roll over the Ravens. Through the first quarter he was well into two and a half pages of notes for the show and had barely touched his drink. Then the Second quarter opened up and the Ravens started to move the ball and score....only field goals he thought but then they kept stopping the Cowboys. At the Half he was already halfway done with his bottle. The opening drive of the Third saw him closing the laptop and setting aside the notepad and all attention on the screen. In the Fourth the Cowboys offense came alive and started to show some heart for the first time all game, but everything they did the Ravens mirrored and in the end could not outpace the scoring of an obvious better team this night. As he turned off the game with a Hrrrumph he realized that he need to also toss out the two bottles of Scotch that were empty on the table. Cleaning up he headed to bed disgusted with his team.....
