Second Night - Reflections and Feeding. Empty Second Night - Reflections and Feeding.

As Reed rode into the night, he took the chance to find some prey for the evening, it was unsettling how easy he was adapting to it. He needed to remember that these were people with lives and thought - not just a walking blood bank.

Yet - it was part of him, in his blood and those that have it, to degrade and manipulate others to for the privilege of being fed upon. It was a curse, that sometimes each forget from time to time, but he was glad he still 'felt' things.

He turned on the radio - which amazed him the first time he examined his bike back at a hostel he was renting - and turned it to the 'oldies'. It was hard to believe the music of his youth was now considered as oldies.

The music that played was Chicago '25 or 6 to 4'.

Of course, there weren't such as thing back then. He mused with a smile at his thought. He rode the bike to a nearby gas station and purchased a couple of items - gas, map of the city, a lottery ticket, and a dip. He glanced at his watch - that too was different from the time he had come from.

Thus, he continued down the road of the city until he found what he looked for, a pretty young woman coming off the club. As he went for her - he stopped - he couldn't go through with it. Those other times - he was forced because of his beast - he was fooling himself into believing that he was getting use to it.

He see that he really doesn't want to drain an intoxicated woman - not only because the blood would affect him, including it was bad form - but he didn't have the heart to do so. He made the decision to ride pass her and continue on to the park.

As he rode the quickly place a bit of dip into his mouth and chew it a bit. He knew that it wasn't mean to be chewed but he didn't care - soon he spit out the excessive saliva the dip. He'll try later the night to see if he can make himself feed once again before his surly beast decides to do it for him.

Thus, that was the plan, make the call - wait at the spot and then see if he can get the ball rolling again. Yet, as he was riding to a nearby payphone - he spotted a late night jogger - from the glance he could tell she was a bit overweight - that didn't matter. Perhaps, a slight detour is in order. he slowed the bike beside her and with a charming smile, "Hello, miss - wonderful night isn't it."

He 'switch on' as he smiled. And she smiled too.
