West sat with Ankh, speaking as he began weaving threads. "We pull the power from our Towers, which are our connection to the Supernal," he spoke. West knew she knew this, but maybe she didn't know why the mysteries of the Mind were difficult for her.

"Each Tower resides in a Supernal Realm," he continued. Touching his weaves with Prime, so that she could see them easier, he completed the simple Mind spell. "However, each Realm stand in opposition, and that Inferior Arcana takes much more effort to channel through the Tower."

West began two spells, one with Mind and one with Forces, laced with Prime, so that she could see the differences in how he wove a Ruling and how he wove an Inferior. He was uniquely suited for teaching like this, as he was one of the few Mages he knew that had developed his Inferior. West hoped that slight edge would help her understand faster.

"So that," he paused his weaving, concentrating, "it's just a matter of learning how to get past the innate resistance."

He enjoyed time with her, like this, but he also knew that the Mysteries were largely a product of personal enlightenment. West stood, and laid a piece of paper down in front of her.

"These are the Phalanxes of The Adamant Way. Read them while you practice," he said with a smile. "It will help keep you from over-thinking what you're doing, and you'll learn them at the same time."

That ought to keep her occupied while I go see what this 'Lash' thing is all about...
