Aura finds herself getting totally addicted to the training Darren is giving her, loving every second. SHe feels a change coming over herself, that just un-torpored girl getting peeled off, revealing the Aura that was there before, the fiesty Aura who wouldnt hesistate to tell a man to f-off, the more powerful Aura who didnt act like a limp noodle when encountering anything new or scary.

She loves it.

She finds them spending every night that they arent at work jumping rope and sparring in the training room, Aura's lightning fast reflexes and impeccable balance from dance serving her well. She loves sparring, the adrenalin, the fierce predator's gaze that comes over both her and Darren, as they lightly tap out hits on eachother. He would make an excellent Kindred....

Train hard, fight easy....

This is a good mantra for life in general she decides, sharpening her mind to a razor fine edge, not letting her torpor control her anymore, that little Spitfire that Lioni used to know coming back faster and faster, her memories stay lost, but the girl that Lioni picked to be her childe comes roaring back.

SHe finally sets down her gloves, collapsing into bed, completely spent and exhausted, knowing Darren will make sure she is safe while she sleeps.
