Darren stretches his arms and shakes out his neck after another shift at the Lily as he walks back to the apartment he shares with Aurelie. He decided to walk to work to get some fresh air and a chance to think how quickly things have been happening since his arrival only a month ago. He wanders the streets that lead from the Lily, his steps long yet delicate for such a big man, his aim to get home as quickly as possible.

As the night drew on, Darren neared the apartment after another uneventful evening at the Club and considered how he was going to get to delve further in the soiety he had peeked into.

Suppose I'll have to ask Aura for some help, or meet some of her friends, he thought as he mounted the steps two at a time that led to her apartment.
