Trouble with Watching Topics

Anyone else having trouble receiving new post notices when you're watching a thread? I only get maybe three out of four. They aren't going to my spam folder... they just never show up.

Anyone know why that happens. Existentialists need not apply.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but you don't get a reply notification for each reply ina single thread. You only get one per thread when there is a reply, and then, until you've caught up with the thread, no more reply notifications for you!

If what you mean is that certain threads just don't send you notifications, well, then, I'm stumped.

It is, but I have gotten four notices in a row for the same topic (Loony Bin) during a time today when I couldn't post, only to find out that there were six messages posted.

Other times, I get no notices (not even ones turning up late in my email inbox) but when I check the forum, three people have posted in that topic over the previous four hours.

Just wondering what might be going on with the erratic notifications.

Consider me stumped. Only theory left is Frankenstein Wasteland...

If all else fails, blame the Prometheans, disquiet and the wasteland effect.

Nah, I prefer to believe it is a plot by jealous, unseen forces bent on preventing me from wooing everyone on the board into my service with my heart-wrenching prose.

But I'm too modest to say anything like that.
