This is an extremely well made stop-motion film; I don't really know what it's trying to say but it made me strongly feel - a mix of unease and excitement and more. I can only suggest you to watch it yourself.

Very interesting, there was a lot going on, difficult to say what it all meant. In regards to your question, I would say that is a reasonable interpretation.
