Alas, not every post seems to be backed up. The majority are, but I've come across a few that aren't there.

If I understand correctly, this back-up was from last weekend. So there are probably quite a few that will be missing. It's actually amazing we even have this!! Count your lucky stars!!!!

Mine too, I put his description and his Bike's description. also the bar I created is gone, and it took me a while to get that descrip as well. Wrench was erased and so was my mood for him about being herion addict. D=

This is sort of water under the bridge at this point, but I keep copies of ALL my major posts on my hard drive. I actually compose them in Word, save them to a folder, then copy them over to the forum to post. So I always have a copy of everything to easily refer back to if I need to reference something.

It makes it easy for doing XP reports. And, apparently, it's really nice when migrating servers catastrophically fail... LOL

I highly recommend it!!
(not only posts, but CS, CD, photos, anything relevant to this site)

I don't save my posts, I do keep my character sheets and XP logs on my laptop. So I'm writing this month's XP logs largely from memory, but I didn't lose the important stuff.

I don't think Frost meant it the way you think... I think she meant at least the moderators got to read it, so it wasn't lost to the black hole. It was read and accounted for. You know what I mean??

And I wouldn't normally jump in here and speak for someone else. But I think she's super-ass busy, and I don't want you to go through the day (night?) feeling crushed. That would suck.

So now you can walk down to the pub with your girl and your dog and have a great evening!!!! LOL

I know, I was only joking, I can only imagine the depth of the problem when the gang discovered the crash yesterday.

As for the Silverstone, about 2 hours away. I'm in Suffolk, East Anglia. Is it about the Grand Prix?, starts next Sunday, cannot wait.

Finally! Someone here that follows Formula 1!! Guess you all know where FC and I will be on Sundays from now on when we're missing!!! (And Wednesdays for Press, and Fridays for Practice, and Saturdays for qualifying...) LOL

Are you able to get down to Silverstone to see the race? 2 hours isn't too bad, right?

My husband and I are DYING to come out and see a GP. He wants to see one at Silverstone (will they have one this year or is it done now there?) but I really want to go to Nurbergring. Or Spa. Or I don't know. I wouldn't turn any of them down, really. But the coverage is SO good on the telly, I think I might be disappointed sitting in the stands. Except listening to the whine of those 19000 rpm engines. And the smell of that fuel.. .Yum.....

I wouldn't mind going to Silverstone but the coverage is so good on TV, its easier to stay at home or I usually watch it with my father in law at their house.

And yes, Hamilton is my fave, he's a natural. I was also quite glad to hear that Honda were saved, even though I can't stand Jenson Button. What was your fave race last season; I quite liked the night one in Singapore as weall as the tense last race; Ferrari thaought Massa had won until Hamilton passed to fifth on the final bend. I was on the edge of my seat the whole race!

Also, have you heard that the FIA have done a u-turn in regards to the points system? They're not going ahead with most victories, opting to go with last years most points.

What are Lexi and West going to do about Raikkonen? Huh? Answer me that?!

Favorite race was the last race. Damn. I am a 100% Kimi girl, but Ferrari comes first in all things, so Massa had my loyalty. And I SO thought we had it. I really just crumpled up and died at that last turn when Massa had already crossed. I couldn't scream any more. It was so emotional... Oh... the humanity. And Massa was such a stand up guy. But, you know, if you were ROOTING for that Hamilton lad, well, you never saw our tears, did you?!? LOL

And Singapore was my favorite race just for the shear drama of the aesthetic. That was so, so cool. I used to live in Singapore too, so I have a very special place in my heart for the island. It was amazing. And Uncle Coultard? Who would have thought it.

Had not heard about the points. I think I've been buried here too much. I'll have to do some catching up. God, I can't wait...
