Graduation
I got myself graduated yesterday. I am now a bachelor of the Arts in Chemistry, with a minor it technical theatre and biology. And still no word on getting into medical school.
Its kinda nice to realize that nothing i do now will ever impact my GPA. I'm Free!

Are you kidding? I can not wait to be out of school completely and into a real job. 5 days a week means no weekends (except for occasionally) and you are guaranteed to end at 5 when you do have to work. You don't have the horrible thing called homework and tests are nonexistant. Plus I will be getting better pay than minimum. It sounds like a vacation!

Re: Graduation
We'll see...I graduate in December if all goes well and I will be sure to let you know if it is my vacation or your dismal concept that is truly the case.
(btw- I have had one person say that it was indeed a vacation so at least it can be possible.)

Re: Graduation
Wow, ummm ok I never graduated high school, I have never been to college and have no current plans on going. You people who stay in school for 25 years make me think I'm normal, cause you all are nuts!
BUT, Congradulations to all those who HAVE graduated! I know how much work and pressure that is. Good work!
Now, back to my craptacular 5 days a week (and saturdays too) job that I have. What was that about this part being nice Delta?

Re: Graduation
Actually, in all fairness to Delta...my current job is like that. But I had to bust my ass for 4 years to get here. But don't mind any we're sayin', Delta. Your optimism is...delicious.

You have a son.
That changes everything.
I imagine that at that point, even a part time job is insane because a kid is like 10 full time jobs rolled into one that never ends.

Re: Graduation
Salary for a stay at home mom, if paid an average salary for all the jobs she does is about 135k a Year. Starting salry for a pediatrician is 130k. Just putting that out there.
