The Funeral

"We're going to do our part to figure out a way to find the person who did this, and then deal with it," Orphan says, matter-of-factly. "West mentioned something about Banishers, and one being a sniper. Apparently they'd been laying low for awhile, but I'm guessing that's who did this today. So, we need to figure out how they knew about this, knew to be here, and we need to come up with some way to find this guy and whoever he works with, or for. We got this, and we got what went down in Granite Park. It's a lot on our plate, but this is what we do, as Arrows." He looks at Tug and Falx, and over at Teegan. "We're going to need help, though, help we can depend on." He glances around for Valkyrie. "The Captain was the leader of one of the Orders, the Free Council, so I'm thinking everyone will be gunning for the guy that did this. He's a threat to everyone. So, we check back in with West, and while we work the Granite Park thing, we also do whatever we can - whatever we're called upon to do, and whatever we can come up with on our own - to deal with this, too. And most of all, we do everything in our power to make sure no more of the city's mages end up dead."

Orphan knows that as a mere Talon, he is perhaps speaking out of turn, being outranked, to the degree the Arrow uses rank, by Falx, a First Talon. So, he looks at Falx. "Sound good to you, Falx?"

Off to the side, he also notices Ollie. "Good time to talk to him, I think."

Orphan had better hurry. One gets the sense from Ollie that he's about to get the hell out of this shooting gallery. Let the pentacles figure this one out. His crimescene was across town.

Zilker takes care of the employee while the others collect the bodies and tidy up. Captain's car is freed from the mausoleum, and a somber procession leaves the cemetery.

Fourteen would come for three.

Eleven would mourn six.
