Calligan Wellmer

If ever there were a more self obsessed Mage, it would have to be Calligan Wellmer. He delighted in using his wit and intellect to disarm fellow debaters in the Free Council not because he believed in what he was arguing for, but because it amused him and showed off his talents. Then, the Sacramento Incident happened. Calligan can't remember who they were, but now where once some of his respected colleges stood, there are only blank spots in his memories. For days, he questioned the Spirits of the Shadow for some indication of what had happened. All were silent. In a fit of grief, Calligan marched into the Free Councils meeting and demanded that someone be sent to investigate what had happened in Sacramento...and he volunteered to lead the search! The Council was rather shocked at this sudden change of heart, and could not refuse the mage this desire. So, Calligan Wellmer has set out to find out what happened to the people that have vanished in his memory. Calligan Wellmer is older than he looks, and is very Charismatic. He is now in charge of finding new recruits, and recommending them to other orders based on their abilities (Free Council still gets first choice of course). So far, he has even amazed the Guardians with his fair and objective recommendations of new recruits, and has earned a great deal of respect from other members of the Free Council.
