Waiting for her new "Boss"

Alex had been dropped off at Antoinettes’s penthouse and asked to wait. She took a seat on the elegant sofa.

It was quite strange; ever since the planes ride she wanted nothing more than to please Antoinette. She had on no account been ever been asked to wait, nor would she ever had before this point. Why was she feeling so strange? Maybe it was all the wine that she had drunken mixed along with the jetlag. Well, she did no longer work for herself. She was the official face of Lash and now had a boss. She was expecting to be “bossed” around. But the benefits of the job definitely outweighed the fallbacks. She would learn to deal.

Alex was beginning to get sleepy. So she kicked off her Jimmy Choo boots and laid down and relaxed. She would definitely talk to Antoinette about her work standards when she awoke.
