Gosh, I need to re-read Dune. I read it all the way through once, but I did the thing where you'll start a book when you're in the middle of another one and my memory of Dune is kind of hazy. I remember really liking it too.

Is that cat in some sort of tortilla wrap?

I thought it was some kind of cheese cloth.

I read them all, but could have skipped reading Chapterhouse.

Yeah.. I think the only dune books I haven't read yet has been ChapterHouse and the Sandworms or Hunters.. can't remember which one it was..

But, I did enjoy Paul of Dune - it felt more like Frank Herbert's writing than Brian's and Kevin's.

I do admit that some of their choices.. and writing style seem a bit ill suited for Dune.

the spice must flow!

I agree though. IMO his son is just milking the "franchise" so to speak. maybe the originals just have vintage quality though. in any event, I love Dune, and this cat is hilarious looking.

Yeah, I actually found the short story in Road to Dune more interesting than the novel that the Duo had been pushing forward, however, I did enjoy Paul of Dune.

XD I keep laughing at the cat.. >.>

Yeah.. it kinda amazing .. Minor House .. Major House.. they're all corporations Very Happy

But what I did find interesting was that the scheming Son was great until he took the throne.. what a waste what a waste.. I would've like the Emperor from the short story.. he was decadent but he made masterful moves.
