Making It Your Own Empty Making It Your Own

Johann wasn’t much of a decorator...

That was clear from the look of his room, which to this point, was still pretty much an empty room without windows and just a mattres, he didn’t liked spending much time in it, the dark and quiet place gave him way too much time to think, he needed distraction, he liked distractions, he would need some if he hoped to make it a bearable place to stay in.

So first of all he brought in his electric guitar, well, the one he had gotten, stolen actually, back in San Diego, the old one just reminded him too much of her, she had being the one who gave him that seven string Ibanez that costed more then a year of paychecks, she’d even signed it, every string and every inch of it had being touched by her fingers as she played it, naked most of the time, smiling at him from the other side of the room, she knew he didn’t liked when she touched his things, as few as he had, but she did it anyway...

He didn’t wanted to think of her anymore.

So off with that guitar, pawned for some money to the road and godspeed to it, he didn’t need to eat, but Johann sure as hell needed Gas money, Jill, that was his Bike, was many things but not a cheap girl.

Besides, now part of that money could be used to buy junk to fill that clear mess... not even expensive stuff, just whatever could be used to fight off the blandness...

When he was done, the most expensive thing in the room was that damn BoomBox, it costed him about 30 bucks on one of the near by pawnshops, which wasn’t bad, it played quite well too, so he could put some music he liked, despite not knowing shit about computers, he had kept up with the music industry, at least on the basics, so he knew well enough how CDs worked and still had a fair number of them with him, besides, that shit got the radio, so even if he didn’t had them, he could listen to something.

The rest came out easely enough...

Some nice red sheets Ace allowed him to ‘borrow’, to cover his mattres and wrap arround any date he might wish to ‘bring in’, tho he doubted about that last one.

Then also a good number of band posters, sadly the music store didn’t had many of the old bands, tho Led Zeppelin was still strong, how could it not? And fuck, Iron Maiden, Eddie! How had he missed seeing him on his wall, Metallica of course, they were still far too famous, he prefered the old long hair look, but their music, if posible, was getting better, he even got The Ramones as old and punk as they can get, and some new bands, like Green Day, they may be ‘comertial’ but he still liked their sound, same for the Offsprings, all splattered in the walls however best they could...

Last but not least, hi toolbox in the other corner, he might not be a great mechanic, but no selfrespecting biker could not know how a bike worked, at least on base.
