Lover and a Fighter

Aura returns to her lonely bed for the night, her mind filled with that kind mortal Darren. She feels a bit silly for being so hung up on the man but ignores that side of her mind, focusing only on how amazing it felt to be curled into his arms, how he sighs when she drinks from him, how eagerly he took her blood, how handsome he is... how much she desires him.

She then shoves away the thoughts about how it might not be appreciated ghouling him, then decides that that is silly too, because she isn’t going to… Just a second tier bond perhaps, to make sure he will always care for her….Not like the other… No… Not like him, that man she barely remembered from before her torpor, blonde and suave and…evil. She shakes her head, blond hair flying.

So many things to do.

She calls in to her favorite chic store that Lioni took her to, leaving a call for a personal buyer with Darren’s measurements, asking for several Armani suits, understated and in a deep navy that will suit him very nicely indeed. She asks that they be wrapped and delivered to his room at the student lodge, knowing that it will be done in a day or two. Her second job is a bit harder. She finds a news paper advertising a gorgeous apartment just two streets away from Asylum. She puts in a call for it, planning to make it her private get away, but not somewhere to sleep, wanting to return to the safety of her sire’s when the dawn comes, and not wanting to make wonderful Darren suspicious when he moves in. Her third call of the night is to a chic furniture store, asking that they make somber and cozy selections for her, hoping that the apartment situation will be handled in a couple days, in fact, in time for her night off.

She curls back up in bed, still feeling unsettled, her mind getting less fuzzy but not giving up any of its secrets either.
