Tomorrow (Tuesday) I have a promotion assessment day for my job which could mean that I would be in charge of the custody suite at the court where I work.

Yes, I am freaking out.

Well, I suvived. Woke up at 3am worrying, got up at half past 3. Left for interview at 7.45ish. Got to the hotel where the assessment day was being held only to find someone I work with, a good mate, has also gone for it!

Oh, the hilarity!

Main thing, I done the best I could and got the experience for a later date if necessary. Just gotta wait a couple of weeks now.

At least the company provided lunch for free *thumbsup*

Bit tired now, long day.

Anyway, cheers for all the support, I'll keep you posted of any updates.

Ok, so, an update.

I got to work this morning to find my current custody team leader (who is two ranks above me) in the building and pulled me to one side for a chat.

Apparently, I was one of the strongest candidates for the position and have a further interview on the 24th of April!
