Returning home

Bacchus rolled into town on a beaten dirty and yet sturdy motorcycle slowly scanning the familiar landscape of his upbringing and various escapades upon his Awakening, wondering all the while what awaited him as a lot happens in such short times and six months was no small amount of time. He found a far amount changed with a certain lack of spirit activity, he’d expected change but not absence which set a slight chill through him. He went by some old haunts and didn’t really notice anything of note let alone traces of the familiar, finally wanting something familiar he stopped at a hotel.

As he walked into the ritzy hotel he smiled as he didn’t fit in with his dusty and tattered clothes but it wasn’t why he garnered the undue attention, mostly women, he’d missed all these months. Getting to the desk he put on a, I’m sweet and lost please help me look, for the young woman at the desk and was rewarded with the chance for a free phone call.

After trying a few numbers that were disconnected he got one that began ringing. Looking back at the nice woman he smiled at her a little shyly, disrupting the current conversation she was having with her coworkers.
