Taking Calls (Open to Anyone)

"Alright then, folks. Now it's your turn to Brief me. The lines are open. If you've got something to add, a bone to pick, or anything at all you want to talk about call me at 800-555-6464."

The man speeks with a strong Accent that not many can place

Have you seen the streets tonight? I hear the Dead are walking among us....

"Oooo. The dead are walking among us. Tonight? Are they just out tonight? What kind of dead are we talking about? Ghosts? Zombies?"

The man sighs....

You mock me good man? Your talking of Rats fleeing the sewers but now you Mock me when I say the dead are among us.....I feel for you my good man.

Bobby's tone of voice changes

"No, no. I meant no disrespect. We get a lot of calls from people goofin around. This is what the Briefing is here for. What's your name?"

There's no answer. Bobby puts a hand on his microphone and whispers to the tech in the studio, "Did we lose him?"

"Yeah, he hung up. Next caller?" The tech has his hand hovering above the go button.

Bobby nods, signaling for the next caller. Speaking back into the mic. "Well, well looks like he hung up. I'll have to mind my manners. Maybe he'll call back. Still taking callers, so drop us a line."

Bobby takes a few more calls then ends the show.
