Sabina sits on her boat, feeling the craft rock sofly in the water as it sits in the docks. She had a name and a number to call when she arrived, and now the time had come to make that call. She pulls out her phone and begins to dial, wondering what type of person this Nicolo would turn out to be.

Nicolo doesn't recognize the number and almost sends the call to voice mail. But, instead he reconsiders. He really shouldn't do that now that more people might need to get a hold of him. So he answers.

"Nicolo Rossi."

"Nicolo," An accented female voice says, "this is Bishop Sabina. I was told to contact you when I reached Sacramento. I was told you might be able to help me. Where is the church, and how are the state of affairs with the children of God?"

Nicolo blinked. Told to contact him? Why was she not contacting Bishop Devoe.

"You were? Well, I will do my best to help you then. The Church is located at 5501 14th Ave. Do you need an escort? I can arrange that for you if you like? As for the state of the Churches' affairs, that might be a long conversation..."

Sabina laughs, the sound sliding down Nicolo's neck like a soft caress. "The escort will not be necessary, but thank you. I will make my way to the church and get myself settled in. I have heard another Bishop came here recently but has not been seen in a few weeks. So, I have been sent to help. It would seem the little Inquisitor and her Priest have made some small waves in the community. They have decided you are in need of more guidence, and they have provided it. I would be greatful for a breifing of what has happened here recently, but that can wait until you have time for it."

He tried desperately to process the information she was relaying. Devoe gone? She was replacing him, and why? Was it because of Bella and himself? He darkly suspected his sire for a moment then pushed the thought from his mind.

"Bishop Sabina, I would be happy to brief you as to the current state of the Churches affairs, as soon as you are settled in. I do have one other obligation I must attend to this evening, however." He thought for a moment, and wondered what his state of affairs would be after this obligation. "I don't know how long my meeting will run, I will do my best to meet you very late this evening, but it may not happen until tomorrow evening. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Would you also like your Inquisitor present?"

"Tomorrow would be best, I think. I still have some affairs I need to straighten out here before I can make it to the church anyway. No, Bella need not be present. I have had dealings with her before. Besides, she needs to be out and about doing her duties as well. I have no right to keep her from them. I look forward to meeting you tomorrow night then, Nicolo. Have a pleasent evening." The voice purrs over the line before the connection closes.
