I think if I were Joshua, I'd hold my action and declare as an interrupt a grapple on the first Ananke to physically attack Captain or Armstrong (pick one depending on the current situation).

Sorry for the Celestial fire, was hoping to do more damage (also was in a HUGE rush, and should have saved it for this morning). More mana all around next round. Put the healing on Armstrong, he does damage. Besides, i'm so full of agg.

Not as badly as Captain and Armstrong. Either the crew gets ignored, in which case they're free to start whaling on ananke, or they aren't, which takes some of the pressure off the mages. Either way, a good thing.

Gosh, it sure would be nice if someone could heal Armstrong so she could risk Madness and Paradox to crack open some statues instead of thrashing around making pretty patterns out of her blood. Very Happy

Even bigger monster? Nah. Just a clone of the Ananke that would try to mess up its plans (from a distance). The really nasty entities are only generated when a Master unleashes a manifestation.

Oh, and don't worry about the agg, I'll get you patched up once we get back to a Hallow.

Armstrong has no Mana left (okay ONE point, but she needs that for something else) and frankly, her Paradox pool is so high that reducing it by Mana is counter productive. She can't reduce it to chance dice, so more successes on paradox is better (One success means the spell smacks somebody else, while anywhere from two to four mostly only affects Armstrong).

Plus, constantly knocking her out and waking her up is going to make her fucking pissed.
