Meeting of the Minds

Erika sits in the office at her bookstore, waiting for the resounding pop when they come in. She's busy going over the paperwork...an extremely rare book or two wouldn't be hard to justify taking for herself every month. She smiles as she hears that signature sound, and looks up. "Good evening Mr. Poe, Mr. Keats."

"Good evening again, Dr. Brady. You wished to speak with us?"

"My superior has asked me to meet with others of your kind. I had hoped you may have some advice." She leaned back in the chair, and laid the pen out on the table.

"Ahh...we're quite sorry, but that's a rather direct request. We don't get involved."

Erika sighs, as she watches them disappear in their usual way. They were certainly direct, but it was good business, and the money they brought in was more than worth the enigma.
