Seeking a Thearch

Ollie smiles "Hey, bro. You ready?"

"Yeah. Still been thinking about everything from the night before. Still sounds kinda crazy. Does explain some stuff though." Ryan said as he shoced his hands into his pocket.

Ollie gestures Ryan to follow him and he heads inside, nodding and grinning to the door guard. "All we're doing here is letting the official guys know who you are so they can start thinking of finding you a mentor. I don't usually involve myself in stuff like this, but you're a buddy. I promised you a while ago that nothing weird would happen. Well, I couldn't keep that promise so I figured this is the least I can do."

Ryan smiled. "Yeah, can't exactly help with the weirdness factor once you Awaken eh?" He said as he followed Ollie inside. I get the feeling interesting times are ahead of me...

Ollie walks up to the reception desk, smiling at whoever's got the miserable task of working it today..

"Is Starling around? Can you tell him Ollie's and Ryan are here for him?"

Ryan looked a little surprised at Starling suddennly appearing, but that was probally due to nerves. Damn nerves. Forcing himself one more time to relax, he made his way over, looking back at Ollie to make sure he was following.

Ollie follows behind Ryan, smiling reassuringly at him when he looks back at him. He's there now as a friend and not a teacher or mentor.

Ollie begins "This is Ryan North. He's the college student who showed up with me and those crazy books that day, do you remember? He's Awakened to Stygia. He needs guidance."

Ryan just stood there watching the two. He had no idea what was going on, so he decided to keep his mouth shut.

Ollie shrugs. "Because."

He smirks, and gestures to Starlings phone "If you want you can start hittin buttons and pass us off on someone else, I just figure that most of the time I come to see Tyria or whoever else I usually gotta go through you anyway. I'd much rather annoy you than Tyria."

Ollie figures he owes it to him after Starling's idea of humor on the day after the park incident.

"I don't know Sentinel Morris or his path, but now we've got direction." He grins. "Thank you, Starling. You never fail to please. Can we bother you for his number, or an address?"

Ollie turns to Ryan and flashes him smile and a double thumbs up to reassure him.

Ryan smiled back and gave Ollie a nod in return. He still had little to no idea what was going on, other than Starling not being happy about Ollie coming in during lunch.

"Thanks, Starling. You've been a bro."

He gestures to the door "Come on, Ryan. Let's go."

Ryan followed Ollie out of Starling office. "Are all mages besides you that stuck up?"

Ollie laughs "Yeah, for the most part. There are exceptions, though. Starling's weird, though. Sometimes he's totally cool, and sometimes he's a total dick, and other times he's just weird."

They make it outside, Ollie's still chuckling a bit "Here, I'll call the Sentinel for you."

He pulls out his phone.

Eclipse stays a bit longer and discusses some Silver Ladder business with Andrade, as well as mentioning the party again. Then he says his farewells and leaves the Museum.

"...See you soon, Sentinel Morris."

Ollie hangs up the phone, turning to Ryan.

"He's on his way to pick us up. We just gotta wait here."

Ollie and Ryan wait for Joshua Morris, who is actually with Theo, Armstrong, and Animus.
