Texts Exchanged before Court

Asa noted the different entrances and took the 'common' one. Carefully ascending the stairs, he scanned the seating arrangement.

Well, shit.

Looking around, he spotted Martin Carpenter.

Going back down the stairs, he returned to his limo and sent Martin a text message.

Mr. M -Would you care to assist with the company errand I've been tasked with?- Mr. C

Martin checked his pockets with a frown, feeling his phone buzz. Checking it surreptitiously, he tapped out a quick reply.

Always pleased to help an associate. What do you need me to do?

Can you come outside to my limo?

Martin rises and heads for the exit without a word. Hopefully the fact that he's aiding Mr. Clarke with official covenant business would excuse him from the proceedings if they weren't back in time. If not... at least he would have company when he met the sun.
Outside he strides to the limo and meets Asa outside the car.
