Leighanne wakes for the evening and immediately screams there is the smell of decay around her she doesn’t know where she is and has a burning in her gut she darts from the bed and cowers in a corner as she looks around the room there is a bed a table and a chair nothing more no window no dresser nothing as though she has been thrown into a cell she slowly stands and walks to the door checking to see if it is locked she finds that it is not.

Upon opening the door she finds herself face to face with a woman the face is vaguely familiar but she can’t quite place it fear rising in her she starts to back up the woman takes a tentative step forward and consoles her with words never touching her as the woman recounts some of the events from the night before Leighanne starts to calm a bit remembering bits and pieces of what happened the meeting strange people on the street them bringing her to meet someone else and then the drink she looks around the room once more and remembers the bed and lying down on it and passing out.

As the memories come back to her she calms more and more until she looks at the lady and gives a glimmer of a smile “Thank you for being so kind.” she sits and talks with the woman about what she has become and what she will do now “I noticed last night you have quite an extensive collection of books you don’t happen to have any that revolve around how did you put it society that I could perhaps read?” she looks hopefully at her.

Leighanne had always been one for research she felt that research made one more powerful the more knowledge you had about a situation the better prepared you were. The woman gives her a little bit of a smile and beckons her to follow she takes her to one of the rooms that she had briefly seen last night full of books she pulls out a select few and sets them on the table for Leighanne looking over the titles she is a little excited but still a bit scared of what she will find when she begins to read. Among the titles are Reigning Monarchists, Governmental Logistics and the one that looks most interesting simply titled Traditions she grabs that one first and sits down and begins to read raising her head for a brief moment she looks at the woman and says “Thank you again Shadow I believe it was.” before bowing her head to the book once more.
