Home Attn: Darren

Aura lets Darren half carry her to the Audi and get her in the passenger seat, she buries her face in a napkin so she doesnt get blood all over the interior as she cries.

Darren drives them back to the apartment, his mind racing but his body in perfect harmony with the car, making sure he doesn't break any laws.

Done enough of that for one night, he sighs.

Pulling back to their home, Darren helps Aura to the apartment, settling her down in the lounge.

She just curls against him, making herself hungry she is crying so hard. Her sire is dead... Her world is turned upside down.

Darren opens his shirt and offers his neck.

"Feed, you've lost alot of blood," he says, seeing the state of her clothing.

She manages to stop her tears, burying her sorrows in Darren's strong neck, drinking a bit from him until the ache in her belly is gone and her shaking slows.

"She's dead Darren... She's dead..." she breathes.

"You're Sire?" he asks, his mind a heady mix of pleasure and worry.

"Yes.. That thing.. the thing I told you about before, I'm sure that's what did it... It happened in less than a half hour... I Was watching the club for her... and I felt her die..I felt it." she breathes, curled tight against him.

Darren holds her close, his mind racing.

"What can I do?" he asks.

"I don't know.. I'm scared Darren, this thing keeps killing us off, it is soo strong, it is too Evil.. I cannot even comprehend the power it would take to kill who it has killed. How do you even stop such power?" she asks.

Silence follows as Darren thinks. "I don't know, Aura," he concludes, sighing loudly. "This is beyond me. All I can do is be a 'pet' for now, as your Prince put it."

"Darren he doesnt understand us. You are not a pet..." she sighs, sounding terribly sad, she looks up and kisses him gently.

He kisses back before saying, "I didn't exactly make the best first impression though."

"I dont care, we have forever to make it up... Will you help me with this new club? I'm afraid to be around so many people 'like that'" she says, curling closer and pulling a pile of blankets over them.

"Of course I will, you don't need to ask."

She nods, letting him carry her to the shower to clean up and then to bed to let the sunrise ease the pain of being awake, Darren staying to gaurd over her prone form and keep her safe all day long.
