Parking Lot Attn: Darren

Aura arrives by cab to an abandoned out of the way parking lot area.

She smiles, having asked Darren to find them a suitable car and given him all of her banking information so he could handle it for her. She had received a call earlier to go meet him here, and she wonders what her beloved Ghoul has cooked up for her this time.

She steps out, waving the confused cabbie off and waiting for Darren.

Darren smiles as he pulls up in Aura's new present, which he purchased using the credit card she set up for him.



Getting out, he smiles at her, "Your new ride, my angel."

"Oh Darren! It's lovely! Are you going to teach me to drive it?" she beams, bouncing around and looking quite happy.

He simply nods and opens the passenger door for her.

"First things first, though, I'm gonna take you for a drive, show you the basics, ok?"

He loved making her happy, just as any good Ghoul would.

She jumps in and buckles up, very very happy with what he has chosen for her.

"Darren you are the best ghoul a girl could as for," she beams widely.

A twinkle in his eye, Darren takes Aura for a ride around the city, making sure he doesn't break any of the rules of the road.

No point in trying to teach something that I can't do right myself.

After about 20 mins, they pull back into the parking lot.

"So, want to have a go?"

"I'm actually rather scared to try, the only thing even remotely this fast was the horse I had when I was a girl, but if you think you can teach me I will try," she smiles.

"Yeah I can teach you. Just so you know, I'm not a racing driver or anything, just know enough to get you from A to B."

He hops out of the driver's seat and holds the door open for her so she can take the seat.

She slides in, shaking a little she is so nervous and excited, this very liberating, and bringing back more of the fiery old Aura that seemed to die with her torpor.

Darren starts by showing her the basics and not letting her go beyond the boundary of the parking lot, making sure she's getting everythin correct, occasionally leaning across to show her something that may have slipped her mind.

After an hour of circuiting the lot, he nods and says, "Not bad, Aura, not bad at all."

"This is SO fun Darren! Magnifique! Tres bon mon garcon!" she beams widely, kissing him happily practicing her turns again.

Grinning so much his face could split Darren decides that maybe they should practise some different manoeuvres, like parking, braking and avoiding stalling.

She struggles a bit with the clutch, but proves to be a fast learner, loving her new Audi.

"Now we have some freedom my Darren!"

"I'm glad you like it. I checked it over myself and found nothing wrong. Seemed too good to be true. Bit like me and you really," he says.

Darren spends another hour with Aurelie in the parking lot and as the night grows on, he decides to take over to drive it back to their apartment, not sure if she's quite ready for the open road.

He guides the blood red Audi TT through the city streets, smiling at how happy his regnant is with him and tucks it into their apartment's parking space, before going upstairs hand in hand.
