City of Silence

Shay Dunn drove through the quiet streets of Sacramento. He prepared himself for the sensation of other beasts rolling over him as he passed people by, but none came. He watched people move down the streets, entering bars and clubs and saw no tell-tale signs of kindred activity lurking in the shadows. He noted the different tags of the Invictus in the down town area, the Ordo Dracul tags weren't far behind. There were even some old Carthian tags fading in the moonlight.

He did not see or sense any actual kindred though. With a frown, he made his way to Dagwood's Sandwitch shoppe. The place his coterie mates had told him to meet them. Was this an empty city ripe for the taking? The perfect opportunity to set their roots in the ground?

Dunn smiles as he parked the charger and got out. Maybe Sacramento was the perfect place to be.
