So... taking a look at the photo, and I've got a weird question.

Does anybody else see a woman next to math and find her immediately more attractive?

The fact that you would even say this in that manner appalls me. I'm infuriated.

You say this as if you are supposed to feel bad about women who are intelligent, as if it is your social duty to scorn intelligent women. You "don't feel too bad about it aprreciating intelligent women." So you do feel a little bad about it? As if it is wrong to think a woman could be smart!?

You have some sort of preconceived notion that other people will look down on you for finding a woman who isn't stupid attractive. Where this form of thinking comes from, I have no idea, and I understand you are trying to say something good, but you are saying something which really offends me.

I just. I don't even want to know where you live, where if you were to tell a group of people that you find "a lady with a brain on her is a wonderful thing" that you would be judged poorly. Where do you live? who would judge you for liking a smart woman? Where does this awful mindset even stem? just!

Truthfully, yes I do live amongst people who don't appreciate intelligence, in women or men.

I wish to high heaven I lived wherever you're at, because clearly people have got their values straight wherever you are.

Seriously though, there are plenty of folk who still look down on people who pursue academic fields. Maybe I've been 'round them so long it's poisoned my better sensibilities, but I honestly find very few of my friends and associates agree with me on this point.

I feel very much in the minority these days. F*** if I know why, that's just the people who I deal with these days.

Can we crank the Serious dial down a notch or two, please?

If anyone on this board had a problem with intelligent women, they'd have left of their own volition by now.

Sorry, I didn't mean to explode. it is true, it is unfortunate that society will look down upon those that support women's equality. I just get angry, it was nothing personal, at all. I was only supporting you, just not the other large percentage of the masses.

And my girlfriend plays in a game I gm, and it is hot, not gunna lie.
