At the Rage (Everyone)

Ollie puts out a hand for a fistbump.

"Heya, Jams. What's happenin? Me, Rip, and Doc are in some shit. I know this is the second time I've dropped something in your lap, but shit's fucked know what I mean? You got a few minutes to talk?"

"Hey thanks, man. He's out in his car with the Doc. I'll go grab em and meet you in there."

Ollie runs back out in sight of the car and waves at Rip and Doc to come on.

Doctor Roberts follows Ollie in

Ollie reaches over and flicks the switch on Jammer's sound system.

"They was using like a sniper rifle, or some shit, man. From the roof of some building overlooking the park. Doc's lucky the guy wasn't a better shot, else he'd be shit out of luck. Sorry for comin and dumpin all this shit in your lap, dawg, but you know how it is with me. It was just the other day I come in the Rage here, breakin the rules, castin spells wherever, ya know? I didn't know who else to go to. I was thinking later I'd go check out the rooftop and see what I can't figure out from lookin back at earlier tonight, know what I mean? Hey that reminds me of something I gotta ask you about. A little later, though."

In a polite tone Doctor Roberts says "No, thanks"

Ollie accepts the joint, inhaling deeply and holding the smoke before exhaling.

"Yo, here's what happened. We were just meeting up for the night, we'd been all running around the park all day talkin to the locals. I think Doc talked to some spirits, or some shit right? Anyway, we were just getting together then all of a sudden Doc's fuckin hit, bleeding all over the place." he hits the joint again and hands it back to Jammer. "So I grab Doc, pull him into the fuckin car, throwin up shields and gettin ready for anything. I guess Doc was in good enough shape to take care of himself, gnarly bit of magicing back there bro." he grins at Doc, beginning to feel more relaxed. Going on, "Next thing I know, Rip's got his car started up and we peaced it out of there quick. We didn't even get to check out the park for that fucking murderous freak who killed Randall. He's probably the one who nabbed that fuckin Pendergast kid, and now we got a whole different problem!"

Ollie snickers "Yeah, I guess that was kind of a rant right? But uhh... No, now that I think of it. It was just the one shot. And I didn't see him either, just a flash of fate on top of the building, ya know? He was real far away when he made the shot."

I fell fine and don't like the idea of you going back alone but the 2 of us going back together would be to conspicuous.

Ollie takes takes a hit, exhaling after a couple seconds.

"Either way, Doc. I think I'll be cool, though. We all stood out pretty hard in the park, plus I'll move faster solo on my skate, ya know? You should hang out, man. I mean, you got fuckin shot! Right?" he snorts with abrupt laughter before hitting the joint again. "I mean, shit!" He hands the joint back. "Hey, Jams. I was wondering if you could put me in touch with someone who could help me learn a few time tricks. I wanna get better at lookin back in time, ya know? Know anyone?"

"Hey, man. That destiny business is serious shit. "

His words are serious, but his grinning expression is not.

"Dude, that's so weird cause my mom always told me I was special. Guess she was totally right. Think you can you put me in touch with them tonight or tomorrow? I want to get this spell down before I go back to the park."

OK but be careful it's dangerous just to travel alone these days.

Ollie snickers. "Dude, you wish you had the Bat Phone. Shit would be tight! I don't know what she could want from me, I ain't got much. Here's hopin we can make a deal. I'm gonna get goin, then. He heads for the door. Thanks for the hits, bro. We'll chill later. Doc, I'll call ya, take care of yourself."

He picks up his skate at the door, and leaves the club.

Tonight rest and relax today's been quite a day.

"Aight," Jammer said, going back to his joint.
